Internal Scholarships:

Chinese Government Scholarship: Each year the Chinese Studies Program awards 4~5 full Chinese Government Scholarships to support multiple students’ advanced-level Chinese language study in a Chinese university for one semester or one academic year. The scholarship covers the tuition in a chosen Chinese university, study materials, housing, insurance, and a monthly allowance(one semester or one academic year). Department of Modern Languages Study Abroad Scholarship: Department of Modern Languages at DePaul University offers a few scholarships to support students majoring or minoring in Chinese Studies to take Chinese language classes in the Shanghai  Summer Intensive Language Program at Fudan University (June-August). To apply for this scholarship, please fill out your application form here:  https://depaul.academicworks.com/users/sign_in 

External Scholarships:

There are also multiple external scholarships (e.g. Boren Scholarship, Gilman International Scholarship, Fulbright Scholarship, Freeman-Asia Scholarship, Huayu Enrichment Scholarship) students can apply to study abroad or work in China before or after they graduate from DePaul.
